Driver Behavior (DRB)
Understanding how every vehicle is driven
The Driver Behavior Parameter Group continuously analyses how the vehicle is being driven.
Instead of simply transmitting raw vehicle signals, the Squarell IVMS combines information from multiple vehicle networks to describe the driver’s behavior in real time. This creates a reliable foundation for driver coaching, fuel optimization and fleet performance improvement.
The Driver Behavior Parameter Group forms the basis of the Squarell Driver Performance Solution and provides the information required for Driver Feedback, Driver Score and Driver Totals.

Business Value
The Driver Behavior Parameter Group provides continuous insight into how a vehicle is driven rather than simply how it is operated.
By analyzing accelerator usage, braking behavior, engine load, gear selection and vehicle dynamics in real time, fleet operators gain objective information that supports driver coaching, fuel reduction and operational safety.
The same behavioral information is also used by the Squarell Driver Feedback, Driver Score and Driver Totals Parameter Groups, creating a continuous driver improvement cycle.
The Driver Performance Solution: Observe – Coach – Evaluate – Measure – Verify
Why Squarell?
Most telematics systems simply forward vehicle parameters to a back-office application where driver behavior is analyzed afterwards.
Squarell takes a different approach.
Driver Behavior is analyses inside the IVMS using intelligent onboard algorithms. Instead of transmitting thousands of raw measurements, the IVMS generates harmonised behavioral information that can immediately be used for driver coaching, Driver Feedback, Driver Scores and long-term fleet analysis.
