Rietveld aims to help you improve the efficiency of your operational processes. One important issue is fuel management. Our fleet management systems already enable you to explicitly track your fleet’s fuel consumption, but now it is also possible to work effectively on saving fuel.

Given the current trend towards ‘sustainability’, organisations are increasingly having to account to society for their fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This is a good reason for you to start monitoring and saving fuel today.

The continuous pressure on fuel prices is also putting pressure on operating results in the transport and logistics sector. On the other hand, it is precisely because fuel prices are so high that considerable savings are possible for your company.

Case study

With Rietveld we created a fuel saving solution for the various fleets. EasyDrive provides drivers with realtime feedback while they are driving. The drivers are scored on the following indicators:

  • Idling
  • Speed
  • Engine RPM
  • Cruise control use
  • Braking
  • Accelerating
  • Coasting

In addition, the drivers will be given an overall score and all these scores can be seen on the screen of the Efficio board computer. As soon as they perform an action that negatively impacts their score, the drivers are made aware of it.

Together with Harrewijn Brandstofmanagement, fleet managers initiate driver training to achieve the company goals. Drivers will be coached to drive in the same efficient way. This reduces CO2 emission and the costs like:

During the coaching stage, CANbus technology, intelligent data analysis, psychology and change management is used in a unique and consistent way. So far, the results at our customers are always above expectation.

Success story

Together with Squarell we created fuel saving solutions for various fleets: EasyDrive. One of our customers already reduced their fuel consumption by 8%.

Other fleet results showed a saving of 800% on idling time. This reduced the fuel used during idling from 4 litres per day to 0,6 litres. By this, the fleet company saves 4.000 litres per month!
