Case study

With Rietveld we created a fuel saving solution for the various fleets. EasyDrive provides drivers with realtime feedback while they are driving. The drivers are scored on the following indicators:

  • Idling
  • Speed
  • Engine RPM
  • Cruise control use
  • Braking
  • Accelerating
  • Coasting

In addition, the drivers will be given an overall score and all these scores can be seen on the screen of the Efficio board computer. As soon as they perform an action that negatively impacts their score, the drivers are made aware of it.

Together with Harrewijn Brandstofmanagement, fleet managers initiate driver training to achieve the company goals. Drivers will be coached to drive in the same efficient way. This reduces CO2 emission and the costs like:
