iControl: software suite for Squarell hardware
iControl is the all-in-one software solution to make your Squarell vehicle data interface ready for use.
The software suite contains:
- Update: upload firmware and hardware profiles to the Squarell device (previously known as iUpload),
- Check: check the device and vehicle parameter data (previously known as iCheck),
- Configure: send and receive messages to and from the device and configure settings (previously known as Docklight).
iControl is the ideal companion for Squarell’s latest product, the REMOTE: the one box solution that combines a vehicle data interface with modem functionality.
How does it work?
Device Update
With your Squarell account you can log in to the iControl software suite. You can upload the latest firmware and the correct Device Configuration File (DCF) to your Squarell device. This is necessary to make the device ready for use and to read and send the correct vehicle data associated with your Squarell vehicle data solution.
Device Check
You can monitor the device by making a live scan of the vehicle CAN Bus. You can use this scan for analysis or monitor incoming messages from Squarell Special Function Devices (SFDs), for example from a Bluetooth SFD.
Configure Device
Configure all settings and preferences for the REMOTE device.
